Mission: The ETDS is a non-profit organization that promotes, encourages and fosters the development and improvement of the genus Hemerocallis (daylily) and public interest therein by all suitable and appropriate means. It is an affiliated member of the American Hemerocallis Society. Meetings are casual and usually include an interesting program as well as a snack. The members hold an annual daylily sale to raise money to fund a horticulture scholarship at Stephen F Austin. Some years, we hold a flower show to promote public interest in our favorite flower. The Edna Lankart daylily beds at the Tyler Municipal Rose Garden are maintained by the membership.
Meeting Location(s): Tyler Municipal Rose Garden Center
Meeting Times: Usually on second Sunday of most months (October - June) at 2 p.m.
Officers: Bill Pace, president; Dee Pace, first vice-president; Mickey Licatovich, secretary; Clyde Elliot, treasurer.
